Pierogi - Poland Homemade rolled out and cut, then boiled dough, first stuffed and ends rolled together, with choice of: fried cabbage/sauerkraut/salt pork, or cheese, or plum/prune.

Baklava - Greece Filo dough layered with honey, very finely chopped nuts, melted butter (unsalted), baked and cut into diamond shapes - great dessert
