Ok nicely done!! I checked on your "papers" too. Looks like you did the work!!

Still need 8 and 9 off the first set, but here's one to tide ya over..

A man is the owner of a winery who recentl passed away. In his will he left 21 barrels (7 which are half full, 7 which are empty, and 7 which are full of wine) to his three sons. However, the wine and barrels must be split so that each son has the same number of full barrels, half full barrels, and the same number of empty barrels. Note that there are no measuring devices handy. How can the barrels and wine be evenly divided?

TOO EASY Ok, I only got this one quite quick because of having three kids..all must be equal or all hel* will break loose! LOL!

Ok..for 3 sons to share equally, we have to have items in groups of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15...etc...

7- 1/2 barrels

7- empty barrels

7- full barrels

take two of the 1/2 barrels and combine with another 2 half barrels creating 2 more full barrels and 2 more empty barrels...leaving only 3 half barrels left.

so now there are

3- 1/2 barrels

9- empty barrels

9- full barrels

giving each son one half full barrel, three empty barrels and three full barrels!

TA-DA!

harrykwong is an unknown quantity
Of the 7 that are half full, pour contents of 4 of them into 2 of the empties. This leaves 3 that are half full and 2 plus the 7 original full barrells. Have 9 full now.

Each son get 3 full and 1 of the half full.
Oh, there are also 1 empty barrel for each son

Maybe we are thinking too hard for number nine. If you take the "b" and turn it upside down you will get a "p" and you could spell the word soap. Is that right?

A mountain goat attempts to scale a cliff sixty feet high. Every minute, the goat bounds upward 3 feet, but slips back 2. how long does it take for the goat to reach the top?

You have 3 boxes of fruit. One contains just apples one contains just oranges, and one contains a mixture of both. Each box is labeled--one says apples, one says oranges, and one says apples and oranges. However it is known that none of the boxes are labeled correctly. How can you label the boxes correctly if you are only allowed to take and look at just one piece of fruit from just one of the boxes?

With 3 boxes of fruit you must pull a piece of fruit out of the box that is labeled apples and oranges. Whichever piece of fruit you find in that box is the type of fruit in that box.

1st possibility: box labeled apples and oranges has an orange in it so it is the box of oranges
So the box labeled apples must be the box of apples & oranges and the box lableled oranges must be apples

2nd possibility:
box labeled apples and oranges has an apple in it so it is the apple box
box labeled oranges must be the apples & oranges
and the box labeled apples must be the oranges
