Question for Toby Lee from Freesurfer

note: This was a question asked by Freesurfer - which I have posted at Testing Central - So others who have the same question will be able to see the solution.

From Freesurfer:

Remind me again how I go about making a picture clickable to my email addy. I want to have a picture in my sig line and people be able to click that to link to my email. Is that possible?

Re: Question for Toby Lee from Freesurfer

I'm not Toby Lee, but is the graphic in my sig line what you are talking about?

Try it and see if it works for you, if so act like you are quoting me, get the full code and delete the spaces. What is showing is NOT the full code

Re: Question for Toby Lee from Freesurfer

Thanks!

Oh... that's why it wasn't working, I didn't try it in the signature part of the control panel. I was testing it in the post window and that's acting very glitchy for me.

FS... do this without the spaces. Make sure your image is live and well, meaning it's working on the web. I can host it if you want.

This is what it would look like when you click on the image:

Toby-While this topic is hot-can you look at my web page that I have hosted my banner & some animated images. I would like to add the frog just for testing purposes-I couldn't figure out how to get it to work-and I tried(at least I think I did) using the [img] code. Can you try putting it in your signature from my web host site.

Here's the url that has the images

Re: Question for Toby Lee from Freesurfer

BTW, this darned page took 3 minutes to load. That's on a high speed, broadband connection. I'm getting more and more frustrated with DOD as the days go by. It's so hard to help when a page takes that long to load. THREE MIN!

I've saved the frog. Tell me what you want me to do.

Do you want me to host it so I can do one of the following?

1 - Put the frog in my signature as an image?
2 - Put the frog in my signature as an image with a link to my email?
3 - Put the frog in my signature as an image with a link to my home page?

EDITED: I tried putting the frog in my signature just as an image with your url and the img tabs around it. I got a box with a red x, so that isn't working. Using the following url, it didn't work.

Re: Question for Toby Lee from Freesurfer

What Mr.Bowler has done with his email sig line is exactly what I tried to do here, but it wouldn't work for me...I"ll keep messing with it when I find a new email pic.

What image are you going to use. I can help you if you indicate what the image is, by attaching it to your post or by inserting it into an email to me. Remember, I'm not getting email notifications (suck suck) so I might not pop into testing more than once a day. Thanks.

I saw you edited this post-Were you trying to get the frog to pop-up in your post or sig?

Use the img commands around this:

OK... FS this is what you do. Go to your Control Panel, Signature. Then type this without any spaces and just put in your own email address.
