Pip, I'm working on your avatar. I have a way to make it transparent... but I'm having difficulty with it. I'll be in touch as soon as I'm successful. If not, then you won't hear from me.

I won't be doing anything with your avatar. If I can get it to do what I want, I'll email you with my results and you can change it in your CP. I know what to do but I'm not sure I can do it.


I have the html code for the color of DOD where you will be putting your avatar. What I need to do is be able to airbrush in that color code in the part around the perimeter of the black circle. That will make it transparent. I've done this before, it's just a matter of me figuring out how I did it.

Edit: Nope... won't work. Unfortunately the background of the post place changes from a certain blue to another blue. Just like the orange and green posts... of the prior colors. Don't use it Pip... won't work.

Tada!!!!!!!! LOL OK... just right click on the image and do what you normally do. I had to dl a special li'l program to accomplish this. You're very welcome!

Trying to explain this. See the background color where your avatar is? Well, that changes from a light blue to a lighter blue depending on the post before and after you. Does this make sense? Compare the 2 colors. Ugh, that's why it can't be done.

The only way that would work is to totally remove the color of the perimeter outside the black circle. Can't do that.

I saved the one you did and uploaded it, and it still didn't work. It's still white. That's why it needs to be transparent. That can be done, but I can't do it in my Adobe program. But thanks for trying, TobyLee!

Ohhh... I'm still working on it. It has to be converted to a .gif file first. Did that no problem. Now I'm on the next step. I think I can accomplish what needs to be done. Will be in touch soon!
