Cool Iso of people who make homemade items

Hi, I am trying to start my christmas shopping a little early and would love to buy or trade for homemade items. I don't have any 1 thing in mind. I really need ideas. I have family that is extremely hard to buy for. Please e-mail me the things you make or post it here for everyone. I hope to buy all my christmas off the boards. Thanks so much [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Unfortunately I didn't get the craft genes.

However my mother makes cloth teddy bears and she also decorates wicker baskets with fabric linings and bows. She has used material with family history for some of these items. It makes a nice gift! Turn that FFA jacket, that just hangs in your closet, into a teddy bear that you can pass down a generation or two! If you( or anyone reading) this is interested in purchasing either of these items I could send pictures.

Email me with DealofDay in the subject line @ [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

THANKS!!

Hi - I make the best homemade cookies (Or so I have been told), I even am trying to start a business at it I have a menu or if you want email me and we can talk about what you would like. I also do soups, cookie mixes and the like in jars. These make very nice gifts for those hard to please people. unless they are like my mom and the soup mix I gave her sits in her kitchen cause it was too pretty to use email me and we can talk about some stuff [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] oh and if you would like to sample any of my cookies - I can send you out a sampler pack for a small shipping fee (I send all cookies priority so the stay fresher and they all can be frozen)

I do handmade Dream Catchers. Made to order, you can pick the colors you want used and whether you want them in leather or plastic lanyard for brighter colors. I am perfectly willing to sell or trade them.

BlakeandMorgansMom, what a GREAT thread! I am also thinking ahead to the holidays and would prefer to buy something handmade rather than store bought......some really good ideas here so far!

I do counted cross stitch and have several completed pictures that just need to be framed. They range in size from 5x7 to about 10x13. I have some of them scanned so I can e-mail a picture and the dimensions. If anyone is interested you can reach me at

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

I'm willing to sell or trade.
Thanks!

Thanks so much to all the people who have been posting on the board and e-mailing me. I have so much to choose from and I most definitely will be buying Christmas off of the boards this year. It will keep me from trying to fight the people at Wal-mart for the same old gifts. This year I can have things made that I know my family will love. You people have such great talent. Thanks for the posts.

I just wanted to add a picture of my mom's bears to this thread. If anyone is interested let me know [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

She can use new fabric or numerous other things such as...Grandpa's overalls, FFA jackets for a personalized bear, old chenille bedspreads, old quilts etc etc! The flowered bear in the picture is from a quilted jacket just so you have an idea of what she can do.

Oh man that bear is way to cute! Can she make them from something I send her? I saved one outfit from when my twins were babies cause I couldn't "bear" to part with them - I think this might make a nice gift for their birthday or Christmas. Here is a picture of the three bears she has made for my kids. She puts bows around their necks but I have a toddler that chose to remove all three bows and hide them. The kids have played with these alot and they show no signs of wear.

Go to the forums, and there is a board for WAHMs selling stuff. I personally like the handmade bath products and such.

I went ahead and emailed Blake and Morgansmom personally, but wanted everyone else to know that I handmake angel ornaments and pins. Wire and beads, different colored wooden or pearl heads (the wooden ones are great for different nationalities) praying hands in front that either have a birthstone between, or the hands are holding a country -lopsided heart. Very inexpensive, and all hand bent and made w/care. Email me please if interested. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]
