FYI: Important about CVS coupons

I just wanted to inform you all of something.

I was on another very low traffic FSOT board that I somehow stubled across today. (I have no idea how I got there and no idea how to get back). Listed as FSOT post were CVS coupons.

For those of you who don't know, CVS has a Extra Care card that sends you $1 for every $25 you spend as well as free product coupons based on your spending habits.

These coupons however have barcodes on them that correspond to the barcode on the Extra Card card. This is so only the holder of the card can use the coupons. The coupons are useless without the card.

I work at CVS part-time and have had many people try to use these couponds without a card or with a different card for which they were assigned. We can't use them. The computer won't let us.

The Extra Care card and coupons are great things, but totally useless without one another.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up about it, to many avoid any problems. Don't buy or trade for these card specific coupons cause they will be useless.
