This is a collection of salt and pepper shakers that I collected back in the late 70's and early 80's. I've had them wrapped in tissue paper and stored in a Rubbermaid containor since 1984. I've lost interest in collecting and thought maybe I could use the storage container for something else.
Since, I don't have the equimpment to send pictures, I have tried to paint as clear a verbal picture as I could. If you have any questions please let me know. I'd be happy to answer them Buyer pays shipping. Please email me direct if interested. Karen

I have a set of wooden salt and pepper shakers. The first set stands 3 1/2" tall. There are strawberries painted on both the salt and pepper shakers. It does say Japan on the sticker which is still on the salt shaker but the sticker is partially ripped. These are old. I picked them up sometime in the late 70's but they go back at least to the 60's and maybe even earlier. I'm not very good at that. The salt and pepper shakers both have metal tops. The metal tops do have a little greenish color on them (maybe a bit of tarnish on the top of them) but not bad. The pepper shaker is exceptionally cute cause it's actually a pepper grind with a metal handle and wood at the end. Very intricate. Even the salt shaker top has an elaborate metal top. I don't think they make salt and pepper shakers like this anymore. I will sell this set for $5.00.
The rest of these salt and pepper shakers are ceramic type and in great condition.
