I participated in the $30 Gift Check promo from Staples (with the Canon 3000 BJC printer). I got the $30 gift check, but it is only redeemable at Staples B&M stores, and I do not have any within 50 miles. I called Staples online CS but they said they cannot do anything. I also wrote to them about it, so will wait until tomorrow, and if i do not hear from them (yeah right! they are tripping all over the place to answer my questions) I can mail it free to someone who can use it at a Staples B&M store. I can mail the check, and a letter authorising the person to use it. Beyond that, the recipient can use it if they will allow him/her to do it. The check is issued in my name, dated 11.21.00 and expires 90 days after the issue date, so there is some time if someone wants to take the chance. Email me at kumar@juno.com if interested, and leave a note here saying it is taken...
