All natural diaper rash ointment

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I posted because I was on total bed rest with a troublesome pregnency then went into premature labor and had an emergency c section.

If you have not traded with me, I can provide references if you'd like.


My new baby boy has skin that is extremely sensitive to anything that is put on it and also anything I eat (I breastfeed.)

He was getting horrible diaper rashes that made him cry and cry in pain and I was using store bought diaper rash ointments and they were causing more problems than they were solving!

In the past I have made my own lotions soaps shampoos and laundry detergents so I decided to make some natural diaper rash ointment myself to see if it did any better than the store bought stuff I was using.

We ended up with no more rashes and a happy baby and mommy.

The ointment I made has lots of great healing oils including calendula and emu oil and it has pure aloe vera gel as well as a tiny amount of tea tree oil to help heal the cause of the rash. It contains no petroleum products like mineral oil or vaseline and no dyes or fragrances that can really make matters worse. Everything in it is natural and gentle.
