Now that the economy is going down and gas prices are going up, you’re totally right to be concerned about saving money when you buy gas. But how do you do this? If you’re like most Americans, you use your car every day. Here are a few tips that can help you save money on gas.

2) Drive less. Commute or walk to work. Take a walk to your corner grocery instead of taking the car. You’ll save on gas and get exercise as well! Use your car only when necessary. This had me thinking of all of the other things in my life that I spend money on and ways I could save! There are some great money saving tips that I read on the Scott Common Sense Community! I don't know about this, but it cost most to buy a hybrid car and that extra cost can be use for gas.

Is that true? I wonder why? I really don't drive as much as I used to after using the gas tip calculator and realizing how much I was spending! I really enjoy not driving as much though!

I've decided to perform a test. I didn't drive for whole week at all, and all my gas in the gas tank. That is amazing, I saved up about $100... Common guys...

That is amazing! $100 in one week! I calculated that was saving around $50!

I am also still wondering how you save money when you fill up the tank when it is already half full! It is worth a try but why?

I agree with all of the statements except for getting a gas credit card and and two reasons.

1. I believe when people have cards they will use them more often because they don't have to pay right then and there.

2. America and it's credit crunch. Put the cards away people.
