Pain Transfer from wife to husband

My wife is going trhu cancer treatments and I have found both thru the process of the treatment and her pain I " SeeM" to be feeling that in same pain and her seems to lessen. Is this possible? we have been together only just shy of 2 years, but I havve known her my whole life and I finallly found her.....I am I nuts here? She is on her last treatment after a double breast removal in May. She is 35 and is healing quicker than the doctors can believe.
She just had a treatment yesterday and I feel sick today with pain. Maybe I'm over thinking this here but it sure feels real to me & her pain is less than when we began this terrible journey.
