1. Check out other car insurance companies for better rates. I just switched from State Farm to AAA and am saving about $35 a month. That is a total savings of $420 a year, or a nice little vacation over the weekend.

2. For about $4 you can buy these little mirrors that fit onto your side mirrors, and these mirrors HELP to protect your blind-spots. These little mirrors can be found at Walmart, or your local store. This $2.50 (when I bought them) investment has literally saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in insurance payment and such. And I haven't hurt or killed anyone, because I can see my blind-spots. I have been using these for years. Good Luck.

Updated: 3. Put nitrogen in your tires instead of regular air. Nitrogen helps the tires to move easier without as much friction and also helps save tire wear. This will end up saving you money. Nitrogen doesn't leak out nearly as quickly as does regular air.
