| Ok, my outlook express will not let me do anything in it. It will download my mail but when I delete something, it just freezes... and can someone tell me how to get rid of some junk on here? Dang, it's slow....and I dont' use half of this stuff....like gain? gator? morpheous? napster? | I had the same problem!! This is what I was told off the microsoft newsgroups forums. Delete the file named "outcmd.dat" You can do this and still run outlook. The other thing that you can try is open it in safe mode, which means you will still be able to do everything, but you won't be able to have the preview pane (initially). To do this, go to run: then type outlook.exe /safe For those other programs, go to your control panel, and there should be an option for add/remove programs. Open that and remove any program that you don't want on your pc any longer.
