Question Wallpaper Question

Since the doors in this old place all need work..........

I was thinking about adding wallpaper to the inset areas.
How can I apply the wallpaper without having it be so permanent? Withouth actually wallpapering them? I hope you understand what I mean.

I don't know if this will work or not, but I know you can buy some kind of glue type stuff that will peel right off and it won't take the paper or paper off your walls. Could you apply some of it to the back of the paper you want to use and stick it on the door that way? I don't know how far the paper would stick out, though, guess it would depend on the glue stuff you use.
You might go to your local wallpaper store and ask them. Or maybe a home improvement store, or even a paint store might give you some suggestions. Good luck...
