LocaChica is welcome here
I've been waiting for DOD to have a thread like this... I HOPE it will lead to it's own board. **hint, hint Mayor**

Even if you did this just for personal items like soaps, shampoos and etc., you could save several hundred $$ a year which is that much more you can free up for other groceries, savings or having a special fun treat.
You are so right! I especially like Walgreens deals where they allow you to use 2 coupons on B1,G1 free items. (1 for each) And as Cata mentioned, you can also use a manufacturers coupon with a Walgreens coupon.

Some people are hesitant to participate in rebate programs. One you can start with is Rite Aid. It's the one I like the most because there are no forms to fill out and mail if you don't want to. Just get your register receipt, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and fill out the required info. In a few days you'll know if the info is confirmed and you'll know if there's a problem. You can also use coupons to make the purchase and still get the rebate value. (They do not deduct the coupon from the rebate)

aaack! I got too excited, I forgot what I was going to say next.

Very true Cata, it is hard to get name brand items cheaper than store brands or loss leaders if you can't double. I would hate to live in an area like that. You have my deepest sympathy for your wallet.

I love the Rite Aid rebates, at Eckerd you can do an all in one rebate through the mail, they don't have it online yet. Personally with stamps now being 37cents, I refuse to do any rebates less than $1 because it just isn't worth it.
