Big grin HI darster!

My daughter (4) is showing signs or being very artistic...she's already drawing well and if given the choice between painting/playing with clay/coloring/drawing/chalking or playing with barbies or anything else she'd much rather take the art time!! what can i do to encourage her and what are safe products for a child her age but still allow her to flex her creativity? thanks so much

also, neither i or her father have any talent in that area at all, but she does have cousins (dad's side) and an aunt (my side) who are very artistic...the cousins draw and my aunt paints....

Hi Darla!

Recently, my DH & I started homeschooling our 11th grader and we are following the schools curriculum. What can we teach her for Vis. Comm. besides printmaking? We know that developing photography is also a part of the curriculum, but of course we can't do that in our home. We really don't have to teach her Vis. Comm. since it's only an elective, but she wants to do it.

Is Vis. Comm. the same as Visual Arts?

Any help would be appreciated!!
