Obviously most HS'ers do not stick with the min. and go way beyond it. this will give a basic guideline of what your state wants. As for what method? that can very from child to child. No-one method or program will work for every child. I know 2 UnSchoolers - mostly child led, my child likes to learn by what she is interested in at the time. If it is computers... we work all subjects into relating to computers whales and penguins were fun to tackle. We did use 1 yr of Alpha Omega Life Packs. She liked them a lot. Next year.. 9th grade, we will probably be doing Switched on School House the computer/online version. Less paper work. plus have extra computer that can be used just for her school stuff. | Re: To Homeschoolers: Need HomeSchooling Help Sorry, if this is way late in the game.. probably since it is almost october, but do a google search for home school friendly colleges i think you will be very suprised at the amount of them out there. Good Luck! |
