Need your ideas! Religious ideas

A couple of things-

1. I have offered my creative ideas for games at our Fall Festival at church for "Dazzle Dollars" which can be redeemed for Moon Walk Rides, prizes and food/drinks. Any cheap ideas?

2. We are going to join Mike's home church and the new preacher- who is awesome!!!!.... came to see us tonight. He told us that we were an answered prayer to lead the newly wed couples in the church. We are scared but ready to lead and I can handle planning social activities but he wants a Sunday School teacher and I have never been in such a position. Any ideas or maybe suggestions for this demographic?

What great news...God does work in mysterious ways. I hope this new found adventure brings both you and your husband as well as the other couples closer together and closer to God.

A thought I have and I'm not sure how this would relate to your carnival type thing, but recently I've started reading from my Bible at night. I just pick a Psalm or a particular story and read it. Something short, could be longer if I like. Reading gives me a feeling of really being close with God. It is also helping me understand Him more. I have a Bible that gives suggestions of verses to read depending on your current circumstance. That has really helped. Also, a thought that these couples could do this at night, or anytime, and it could bring them closer too.

May I suggest that you contact local merchants and let them place
an advertisement on the candy/toy to participate?

Perhaps you could let me know if this church encourages a family
sabbath where the family is encouraged to worship and spend the day together focusing on God and does activites that knit the
family closer together.. A 24-hour period from sundown to sunup on any particular day..

Please let me know..

I have other fundraiser ideas and where to get other goodies..
