Mccain versus Obama Who will win?

I think the democratic candidate has a slight advantage this go around. If you look at the states compared to last election that are in play-the democrats have more states that they have a chance of winning compared with very few states that the republicans. The matchup in my mind compares to the Kennedy/Nixon. You have the older experienced/tested candidate against the younger supposely rising star.

The republicans will go after Obama on his lack of experience, iraq(depending on the situation/news), the reverend story, revko etc. Tax and Spend, protectionism, increased taxes.

The democrats will go after Mccain by saying that he is another Bush, no idea on how to manage the economic situation, Iraq(depending on the situation/news), To Old, Washington Insider

Re: Mccain versus Obama Who will win?

Personally I want Obama, but I think Mccain has a lot of appeal to middle Americans that like things to stay the same. They both have strengths and weaknesses, I think it's too early to predict now.

Either guy IMO is better then Bush. I think McCain knows that talking too much about the domestic economy is a loser-so going the route of being a war tested veteran, experienced, tough guy is the best choice. And keep talking about lower taxes, stay away from budget, trade deficits
McCain needs a VP choice that has some charm , energy....probably from the Midwest.

Re: Next U.S. President?

My vote is for John McCain for our next President. He seems like an honest person with America's interests at heart.

Re: Mccain versus Obama Who will win?

Im not sure yet if I will eat my words on my saying that whoever wins Ohio will be the winner. I think Ohio is leaning McCain, but I was kicking around various scenarios on electoral map, and this could be a very unusual thing happening. Thinking that Mccain wins MO, OH, FL and loses???

273-265

The key in this outcome is if Obama can win Colorado & NV or NM?

Or a 269-269 tie if McCain wins CO, but loses NV & NM

Republicans must win Ohio-unless they pick off WI-then a possible Tie if they maintain all three states CO,NV,NM

Play around various scenarios on the Mainstream Media Bias Site LA Times(lol)
