If you have credit card debt.....

I just watched a PBS show about the secret history of credits cards.They talked about how banks that issue credit cards have raised fees and interest.After watching the show seeing how they hurt those who are struggling it made me think that if all our canditates for President got emails about anyone you know who is having a rough time paying.Credit cards/banking has a strong lobby but if enough people got together on this or any of the issues we could make life better for all.

Well when the bankruptcy laws were changed-I don't believe any compromise was reached about the high interest rates. Basically the card companies used to say the reason for the higher rates was because of the defaults etc. The thing that I have noticed is that it is almost like some of these card companies are not sending out balance/statements on a timely basis-you get them very close to when payment date is due or you receive on Friday. I could not locate a date on the envelope?

On that show it said they did that to make so they got more late fees.They also have payment dates on holiday and sundays.
