Now that the Pope has signed the "Motu Proprio", everyone can go to a Latin Mass! Missals are available with Latin on one side and english on the other. Ave Maria! Established churches that already have the Latin Mass are at this website:[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

| Re: Motu Proprio & Latin Mass Locations
The SSPX, or Society of Saint Pius X, is a schismatic organization which is not "Catholic". They have separated themselves from communion with Rome, and so your attendance at one of their masses doesn't "count" for your Sunday obligation. (I.e., you would still have to go to mass at your own church to keep the Sabbath obligation.) For a Catholic organization (and not some odd-ball schismatic group), try the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter - [Only registered and activated users can see links. | Re: Motu Proprio & Latin Mass Locations
I'm a Catholic who came of age during the events following Vatican II, so I can't understand why anyone would prefer a Latin mass. God understands all languages, so why not have the mass in your local vernacular? Of course, this is just my opinion, so I would be interested in hearing from others.

Thank you, Dolorosa! Although I feel differently from those who prefer the Latin mass, I appreciate seeing WHY they prefer it. I think it should be allowed in both Latin and the local vernacular, according to the wishes of the locals.
