CAGW Names Ag. Subcommittee Porkers of the Month

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) today named all 18 members of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on General Farm Commodities and Risk Management Porkers of the Month for rejecting every credible proposal for reform of farm subsidy programs, and instead unanimously voting to extend the current archaic, costly, and wasteful system.

I don't remember how long ago, but I did post something about this...Bush had proposed the elimination/changes to the farm subsidy program, and I supported the idea. Here is a link/url that I had bookmarked from 2002 from the Heritage Foundation.

Great articles!

I get frustrated by the typical mindset of partisans of both major parties. There's virtually no such thing as a fiscally responsible politician anymore. It's sad, really.

Well it's much easier to say "Yes" then "no" to potential voters in your district, and voters like it that xyz candidate was able to get more $$$ then some other candidate did. Here is a excellent Video-David Walker Comptroller General of the U.S.
