| Former 9/11 Commissioners: U.S. at Risk
Doesn't it make sense to allocate money based on the risk level of a particular state? I realize that you want to bring the pork/money for your state, but at some point you have to put National Security in front of self interest...then again maybe not. "Both bills have stalled in Congress, in part over the level of spending and turf fights over which states should get the most dollars."

Ugh! The more I learn about politics, the more I want to scream, stick my head in the sand, or throw up! Of course, that would be the irresponsible thing to do, so I guess I'll just have to start blood pressure medication. Thanks for all of the interesting articles, mrbowler and Rainmaker. I just want to let you know that there is someone (me!) reading them. It sure is quiet around here! |

Good to see National Security is a top priority... [Only registered and activated users can see links.
