"We've learned that Iraq has trained al Qaeda members in bomb-making and poisons and deadly gases.”
"We know that Iraq and al Qaeda have had high-level contacts that go back a decade."
President Bush, October 4, 2002.
Since both these statements were challenged beforehand by defense analysts and the DIA as being questionable or down right wrong, there is a question we must ask ourselves; did the President knowingly deceive the US Congress and American people on his breadth of certainty on the dangerous Iraq state of affairs? In other words, did the President, Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld, and Cheney intentionally ignore or squelch critical information from credible sources, while purposely relying on fabrications and speculation to sell this war to the American people and the world?
