She did a tribute to heroes. When she had the families of the killed soldiers on to read their last letters from them... OMG... It really makes you realize how tragic this war is.

I didn't see that part of the show, Luv, but I've read some of those letters in print. Very sad.

I just chatted with my neighbor online last night (he's in Iraq, with the Marines). One of the things I asked him was if any of the Iraquis are glad they are there. He said yeah, but you don't hear as much about that. He said they are afraid to show that too much, because they're afraid of backlash from those that aren't. But he said they get thanked pretty regularly.
