Question: what exactly is an Evangelical Christian? I hear the phrased tossed around constantly and it usually has negative connotations.

I grew up attending Evangelical Covenant churches and my dad is a pastor at an Evangelical Covenant church. Does that make us Evangelical Christians? We're not crazy and in fact my dad is one of the nicest, friendliest, hardworking people I know.

They say that "liberal" is a dirty word. Well I think they think that "evangelical" is a dirty word too. But I honestly don't really know what that is because I only know of Evangelical Covenant and E-Free and they aren't very big denominations.

I have no doubt this is true, but I don't expect the moral conservatives to just lay down their beliefs and take a nap, nor should they.
