Question How long did it take you to actually vote?

Here in MD, I went at 11:10am and it took an hour and 10 minutes to vote!!

It has never been even close to that long for me before.

Re: How long did it take you to actually vote?

I have never seen such a long line in my polling place. I live in a Republican stronghold, so it appears the Okie Republican party is energized. I waited about 20 minutes or so to vote at 11 am.

It's gonna be a long day...

Re: How long did it take you to actually vote?

We waited about 45 minutes. Actual voting process once inside from handing the ID, filling out the form, passing it back for the little card, voting, and handing in card was about 5 to 7 minutes.

Less than 5 minutes. Then again, I live in a very small town. One of the ladies working said they had 216 people so far, which is a record for us.

Re: How long did it take you to actually vote?

I went at 3:30 pm and it took about 15 minutes. I figured it wouldn't be too busy.

I live in a small township. It said I was #9XX.

When Jesse Ventura was running for Governor of MN, it took me almost 2 hours to get in! I went in the evening, since I worked then.

Re: How long did it take you to actually vote?

I think I took about 10-15 minutes from walking into the gym to walking out. There were 3 people in line in front of me to check in, then I got my ballot, voted, and was in line behind one person to turn it in. I'm not sure why they check us twice - possibly because there were 2 different precincts voting at that one school, but they way they had the room set up it would be hard turn in the ballot at the "other" precinct.

Same here. I was number #294 in our precinct at 4:30 PM. I didn't have to wait at all. But the town I live near only has a population of about 200.

Re: How long did it take you to actually vote?

I went around 6pm and I was back home by 6:45, so I probably waited maybe 20 minutes. This was the first time I have ever had to wait though.

I know some people in NC, right over the border from where I live waited 5.5 hours!!
