If so, in my mind, it just reminds people that Bush failed miserably and osama is still out there taunting us.

You are aware that OBL isn't just going to give himself up and that it might actually take some effort to find him, right?

I'm sure you're trying to make a point here. If he said Osama is 'alive and well' and he's actually 'alive and well' then I guess he was telling the truth? Is that the point you were making? If so, good job.

No one here finds it just a bit disturbing that a terrorist is now spouting Democratic talking points? A very shallow one at that, and that people are actually using it to try and make a point?

I love the use of the elipse [...] becuase believe me, you can make anyone say ANYTHING using that! And who is this Kelly?

You know just for future reference, if you want people to take you seriously, you shouldn't post quotes without ANY refernce to an article, briefing, interview...I'm having a hard time believing these are real quotes you actually FOUND and didn't just copy and paste them from your e-mail.

OBL allegedly suffered from kidney failure and required dialysis. I do wonder if he is really still alive. I find it noteworthy that no one has been able to supply undeniable proof that he is still alive.

In the tape bin Laden mentions “over 1,000 American soldiers dead in Iraq.” We reached the 1,000 Americans killed mark on or about September 7, 2004. So, the tape is less than 60 days old.

But you make a great point; Osama is 6' 6" tall, and does have kidney failure. How hard is it to find a 6' 6" bearded man tethered to a dialysis machine?

This doesn't take into account the sophistication of modern technology's ability to doctor video footage to appear in whatever manner which one may wish it to. Just a simple oversight, I am sure.
