Teresa Kerry totally out of touch with mainstream America

The hits keep on rolling for John Kerry's wife Teresa. In an online interview with 'Planet Out.com,' Teresa says she 'pledges to make gay tolerance a centerpiece of her First Lady duties.'

What may have many Americans scratching their heads is that America is already the most tolerant nation in the world regarding sexuality.

In a time of war it would be unprecendented in US History for a First Lady to make gay tolerance a centerpiece issue.

She also talked about John Kerry's comments about Mary Cheney's sexuality, saying, 'If John had really thought about it, he's have metioned no name. He'd have talked about how people of all kinds of religious persuasions have gay children, and that it's not a choice.'

Teresa furthered her arguement saying, 'A lot of people, particularly of the more fundamentalist view, think of homosexuality as a sex thing rather than a sexuality thing. They are really very different. A person doesn't choose their sexuality. For the other side, there's a tinge of the suggestion of sin, the choice of misbehavior, which is not the case at all.'

'The important thing for us is to respect science and gay people's views,' charged Heinz Kerry.

Teresa sums it up, 'I met a huge amount of gay men in New York who have done an awful lot to help John.'

What a buffoon and embarassment. This lady, if she can be called that, has absolutely no class and is totally out of touch with the majority of Americans who believe the the homosexual CHOICE is an abnormal choice.

Keep it up Teresa. The louder you squawk, the more people begin to see. If only John Kerry would say what he really believed. People would run from him in droves.

I am just shaking my head at the thought of Teresa Kerry as our first lady. She is going to make a big mess of it for certain.

I am a fan of John Kerry (big surprise there!) but Teresa doesn't do it for me.

She is proof that money does not equal class.

I like that she isn't prepackaged and can't be "handled". But something about her just rubs me wrong. I have liked all the First Ladies since I've been following politics but Teresa doesn't fit in there. Then again...who cares? We aren't electing her to anything.

Homosexuality IS the lie, Luv. Thankfully, people are finding freedom. Others are falling into bondage.

I have known NUMEROUS homosexuals (gay and lesbian) in my life. I have counseled some, befriended others. The one thread I have seen throughout every homosexual I have known is that they are messed up and miserable inside. Some of them thought they were happy for a time, but time and truth has a way of catching up with us.

I'm sure you are sincere in your belief, but you are sincerely wrong.

Please don't mistake my words as condemnation for those who are trapped in this lifestyle. On the contrary, I understand the nature of sin all too well. I can have compassion for them. But I will not stand by and allow the radical homosexual agenda to be thrust upon my or the ones I love. It is an abomination.

In the not-too-distant future, expect this to be more common as the leftist radicals have their way.
