Good luck, Mr. Canterbury. You're responding to a man who is running around saying Bush will reinstate the draft. Your pleas will fall on deaf ears of a man who will stop at absolutely nothing in his effort to get elected.

In addition to this article my sister-in-law just returned from Kuwait. She is a mechanic in the US Air Force. According to her, and make no mistake she is a reliable source, the C130's that she was working on are in such bad shape that it is a miracle they stay in the sky. What they have been doing is switching parts from plane to plane because there are no extra parts. 180 billion for what?? Our military is out there fighting and dying because they have Faulty equipment.

Absolutely nothing. It is an attempt to redirect the discussion to a topic that is more critical of GWB. I do think that Prism makes an excellent point on that issue however. Both Kerry and Edwards voted against funding for those type of things. As with most things however, both sides trade off being the pot and the kettle.
