Question Trending towards Bush.. what will be the October Surprise?

Well, the polls, for what they are worth, are most definitely trending towards Bush. Washington Post has him 50%/46%. UsaToday/Gallup/Blahblah has him at 52%/44% among likely voters.
Newpapers traditionally biased towards Democrat, such as The Dallas Morning News and the Chicago Tribune, have endorsed Bush.

My question is this. What will Kerry & Co. stoop to over the next two weeks for an October surprise? I fully expect them to dredge down to the very bottom of the slime pit to throw something, anything, against the President in order to turn the tide.

So what will it be? The cocaine/abortion/drunk driving stuff was tried in 2000 and didn't stick.

Will the Republicans have an October surprise of their own? Will we get Zarqawi? Bin Laden?

The next two weeks have the potential to be the among the most disgusting in American history.

Mayor

That is why I am in my "watch nothing on tv news" mode until after the election. I get seriously ill when stressed over the lies and distortions both parties resort to in an attempt to get elected. Most political ads are anti- ads and they drive me nuts. My remote button is nearly broken from turning off such ads.
