The contrast between right and left...

This information below is an interesting point to me, especially since I am currently reading books about both characters.

One of the key things that bugs me as I learn the truth about Michael Moore is his hypocrisy.
His claim to be one of the 'little people' while charging $30,000 a pop to speak his drivel... gags me.

Also, I am sick of his portrayal as a Flint, MI native. He was born and raised in Davison, MI. The reason that is a big deal is because the population in Davison is only one half of one percent black, the average income and average home cost is twice what it is in Flint- basically it is a lily-white, management level neighborhood. I grew up in that area, so I am not pulling this out of air.

We all know how Mikey travels—SUV limousines, armed guards, private jets, etc. For the purposes of comparison, let’s take a look at someone from the other side of the aisle.

Despite widespread reports that Hannity would not be in St. Louis on Friday [for the presidential debate] because he didn’t want to fly in on a private jet, he was here after all. A conservative student group at Wash U. complained that Hannity turned down their donor jet offer and a first-class ticket on a commercial jet, after agreeing to come into town on their behalf. But Hannity was broadcasting his show Friday afternoon from the KTFK (97.1 FM) studios at Union Station. John Beck, senior vice president for Emmis Communications stations in St. Louis, said Hannity was in for the presidential debate. Hannity said he had wanted to speak here for free to help the students, and that early on he had explained to them his flight requirements. He prefers commercial flights but said the commercial ticket the students offered him would have made it impossible for him to speak when they had planned.


Hannity flew in Friday on American Airlines. He’s particular about what he flies because a charter flight he used regularly crashed about a year ago - two days before he was scheduled to be on the plane.

He flew in on a commercial jet and spoke for free. ...
