A woman fired for eating pork. Is this happening in the US? Someone please tell me this isn't happening. Where's the indignation?

I don't see how requesting (or even requiring, in this case) people to be accomodating of other people's religion is infringing on this woman's religious beliefs. They're not saying she can never eat ham or pork products, they just don't want "unclean" food in their lunchroom so that the religious people will have a "clean" environment to eat their own lunches. She could go out to eat a pepperoni pizza, or wait and have it at home for dinner. Why does her religious freedom allow her to offend a room full of people who practice a different religion? I don't know of any religion that requires people to eat pork for lunch, so how are they infringing on her religion?

Re: Muslims Exercising Bigotry

Indignation...? Over trial lawyers filing frivolous lawsuits, y'mean...???

I've worked (for years at a time) in offices where the dominant culture was a particular brand of Christianity that I don't practice. Got my first tattoo at one of these places just to make upper management squirm a bit (firing me wasn't an option for them, I knew that much already)... I was constantly walking on eggshells about a bunch of other rules that seemed UNNATURAL..., to me anyway. If they had fired me I wouldn't have sued, but I can understand why others might've.

BTW, after their experience with me, I've heard that company's health plan now covers the cost of tattoo removal... Go figure.
