Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad... Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good... Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad... Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists - good... Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad... Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good.... Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad.... Clinton commits felonies while in office - good... Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad... Clinton says mass graves in Serbia - good... Entire world says no WMD in Iraq - bad... No mass graves found in Serbia - good... No WMD found in Iraq - bad... Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good... Recession under Bush - bad... Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good... World Trade Centers fall under Bush - Bad... Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good... Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad... Terrorist training in Afghanistan under Clinton - good... Bush destroys training camps in Afghanistan - bad... Milosevic not yet convicted - good... Saddam in custody - bad... ...I am just plain confused...

Ok, lets pick this thing apart... Bush awarded Halliburton the largest military contract in history, and the company gossly overcharged to government for its services, and the government had direct relationships with the company (cheney) thus a conflict of interest...that's why its bad clinton spent 77 billion on a UN approved war, with proven evidence...bush spent 87 billion against the UN's will on a war that had a false pretense Who said bombing a Chinese embassy was good? did you ever hear a news station say that? And the fellony while in office? who said that was good? no one...but what about the war crime committed by mr. bush? was that not bad? doesn't seem like people remember it anymore. The next two don't even make sense... Once again..who said the stock market crash in 2000 was good? what drugs are you taking? of course the recession is bad, and what is worse is the way bush tried to fix it..fiscal policy does not help...any introductory economics class will teach you that...but bush probably failed it anyway, i dont have time to comment on the rest, but next time you make a critique, you should make sure it has some thought to it Quote:

Any elementary school graduate could figure out this was a repost of something making the rounds of the Internet; so perhaps you are the one on drugs? Additionally, the 'good/bad' thing spoke to how Liberals perceive and relate things. So spare me your condescending attitude.

I don't recall there being much positive said about Clinton over Yugoslovia, other than after waiting too long to deal with he finally got off his butt and tried to do something. But if anyone's got links to articles that indicate otherwise, I'd love to see them.

i agree that that there is a different perception for similar actions (the media in this country is not perfect and there is a liberal swing to much of it) but my response was simply showing that these specific actions have 'behind the scenes' information, that a post reader won't initially think of. and i just wanted to point those things out. |

 Most of these type of posts DO have behind the scenes information; that is true. However, the point of the post was basically to remind readers that Clinton did many of the same things as Bush- to varying degrees- and it seemed hypocritical to put him on the hot seat for the same offenses.
