It gave me the creeps too, Angela. What if the sun decides to get hotter? If I am not mistaken, stars enter a stage whereby they get hotter before they go nova. No, I am not concerned about a nova in my lifetime or anytime soon, but this heightened sunspot activity does make one wonder if our sun is entering the "twilight" stages of its existence.
