Like a ten-pound sack of potatoes, Slim Fast gives potty-mouthed Goldberg the ol' heave-ho. Nothing like a bite in the wallet to let someone know in no uncertain terms that acting like an a$$ is not the way to go.

I hope the Dems will release the video of their liberal Bush-bashing love fest where they reveal just how little class they have.. .course , they won't because they know it makes them look bad. Kudos to Slimfast for shedding that foul woman.

And mayfly, it's too bad that that is the kind of person she is. This is not the first time she has exhibited tactless, crude behavior.

I didn't say all dems have little class. I said the hollywood bunch and other "entertainers" who made the lewd comments had little class. Why is Kerry so afraid to release the video of the event in question? Very damaging stuff...

And I know you want to label me a Republican, but I'm not. It's not "my party". Too many liberals in the Republican party for me to want to lump myself in with them.

Dennis Miller introduced Bush with gay baiting comments about Kerry and Edwards such as "these guys can't get their hands off each other" and "they aught to get a room." Is this a more appropriate way to behave?

Again, it is both parties that cross various lines of what is offensive to certain people. You can't blame it solely on democrats.

Talk show hosts have always made jokes about politicians and celebrities. Kerry and Edwards DO have their hands all over each other. They are the most touchy-feely ticket there has ever been. They opened themselves up to obvious joking.

Whoopi Goldberg, on the other hand, made sexually explicit comparisons between President Bush and female genitalia. Kerry told the audience it had been "an extraordinary evening" and "every performer ... [had] conveyed to [them] the heart and soul of our country."

If you can't see the difference, it explains why you belong in the democrat camp.

I just don't think Goldberg would have lost her gig with Slim Fast if she had not engaged in such a vulgar and obscene display, luv. It is one thing to roast someone, but few truly appreciate profanity-laced, gutter-dwelling put downs meant to be funny, which are anything else but.

I didn't mean to imply I am defending Whoopi Goldberg. I just wanted to point out that inappropriate comments are made on both sides.

I did a search, which came up empty. Lots of hits similar to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] one, but as you can imagine, Goldberg's remarks would have the impact on the Kerry campaign of stepping on a land mine, and the Dems are not about to allow that to happen. Hopefully, the evidence will present itself at some point in time. A well-greased palm just might make it happen.

The difference also in the venue. If Whoopi did this during a comedy show of her own, that's one thing. It would still be class-less . . . But at a democratic fundraiser . . .

I have yet to hear what these schmucks are going to do for me. All I hear is what Bush is doing wrong.

So what are they saying? "Hey, we might not be able to help the US, but at least we're not Bush".

Rae Ann, that's just what I have been thinking. You can tell that their whole political campaign is to say "hey we're not Bush!" Maybe I would vote for Kerry, if he would tell me something that he planned on doing, or what his beliefs are. His main message has been who he is not. I have never heard of this man before, and his VP has only been in politics a few years. All I know about Kerry is that in the past he couldn't make decisions. He hasn't shown me anything to tell me how his experience would benefit the United States, or how he has changed in the decision making department. When I first saw Kerry I had no opinion. With his words and his supporters he has formed my opinion that he is not a strong leader, and his VP has very little experience. All I know he is good at is bashing Bush. Fine, I understand there is some of that in a campaign, but I still am waiting for him to be a man and tell us what he stands for.
