Those Filthy Rich Politicians

I wonder what the FF would say if someone resurrected them and invited them to take a look at these fat cats who represent the American people in the hallowed halls of Congress. Every time I hear one of these jerks go off on a tangent putting down "tax cuts for the rich," I just want to punch them in the nose.

They are so out of touch with the American people.

Here's some discussion about this issue:

Re: Those Filthy Rich Politicians

It is really hard to say just how much the personal wealth of our politicians behind the Beltway truly has on their ability (or lack thereof) to adequately represent us.

What is apparent to me is the continued pattern among our Senators and Congressmen to do what they can to accumulate as much power as possible. This takes a lot of money, as everyone doubtless knows. Party affiliation does not seem to have too much to do with it (as the distinctions between the 2 major parties become ever more blurred as time progresses). It is all about money and power, and it is truly disgusting. The FF would be utterly scandalized to see how things are run in Washington these days.

Term limits should be extended to both houses. It applies to the POTUS, why not Capitol Hill?

You know what I find so RIDICIULOUS? That THEY decide when they get a raise and how much...

Imagine if we all got to choose when we got a raise...

That is a definite don't-get-me-started topic.
