| Re: Al Gore and Global Warming - This is RIOT! Without getting into the whole "Global Warming" thing by trying to make it as complicated as it really is, even though Drudge has conveniently oversimplified it, the coldest temperature in a decade actually proves the statement by Gore: "The Bush policies are leading to weather extremes." That's basically what "Global Warming" means, but I guess the "warming" part is misleading. Colder winters, hotter summers. Extremes. And it doesn't balance out either, since weather related human deaths are increasing worldwide... Sorry, Mayor. I didn't get the joke.

| Re: Al Gore and Global Warming - This is RIOT! It's the irony, my friend. And this nonsense about the Bush policies leading to weather extremes is lunatic propaganda. These corrupt politicians will twist and turn any way they can in order to justify the party line. I try to be unbiased and would have no problem with believing in global warming if it were true. This take on it makes far more sense to me... [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] Mayor

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now], on a nice warm Beverly Hills, CA day: That doesn't mean global warming is not a problem, but we think it ought to be addressed through the development of hard science. We've spent a fair amount of time on the issue since, and we'll continue to work on it. It's an issue that does need to be addressed. But we need to address it based upon facts and not just emotion. And that's the process that we're involved in now. BTW, in the article you posted... There's several screaming flaws that are addressed in detail in various scientific journal. Second paragraph... And third!!! FOURTH!!! Seems to be focused on CO2. I mean, myopically focused on it. Carbon dioxide..., I'm oversimplifying this..., isn't a problem in and of itself. Combined with several chemical emissions, it becomes an issue. There's also carbon-monoxide coming out of the tailpipe of your car (and mine)... There's other stuff... It's like you need water and soap to make suds. Carbon Dioxide would be the water. It's fine on it's own, Earth loves it. Humans in industrialized nations are making soap. Lot of soap. The resulting suds are "global warming". Resulting in clean dishes but dead fish... I'm still not seeing the joke. Irony I recognize, but have trouble defining (it's a Generation X thing)... |

I posted the story straight from Drudge because LMT complained about The Conservative Monitor. I knew they were similar, but it was from a different source.

| Re: Al Gore and Global Warming - This is RIOT! Silly Angus! Read boy, read. Besides, the schematics of a post and where the information came from is not nearly as important as the information itself. We need to discuss the issues instead of constantly trying to disprove where the information came from. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] Quote:
