Back in May, 2001, GWB was in office a mere 5 months when I posted the attached picture on a website that I was maintaining for the "Politics" room in Pogo's AliBaba slot game. The site mainly had pictures and details about some of the members, but I included a political humor section. I thought the picture was somewhat funny at the time.

Now, after hearing accusations of "Laura Bush's drug-induced glazed eyes", "GWB putting a chokehold on his dog Barney" and other such ridiculous allegations and moronic attacks based on the way people look, I see this as just another moronic one, so no longer find it very funny.

Face it, Presidential faces get captured on film from every angle, so it's easy to compile a comparison between human expressions (that EVERYONE has made) on a President and post them next to similar expressions on a human-like creature. The inference, of course is that GWB is no more intelligent than a chimpanzee. With a little bit of research, someone could find and compile a set of Clinton pictures to substitute for the GWB ones.

I guess that I found it initially funny. Now that I understand the whacko perspective of the radical left wing, I just find it more pathetic than anything.

Well the humour that I find most funny is intelligent humour, the humour of quick witty one liners, so I found it funny initially but it doesn't have lasting appeal I'm afraid......

Plus knowing how humourless Republicans are I was awaiting the backlash... ...

Well if Republicans are "humourless" and this board is any indication of people's sense of humor, then liberals are in running a huge deficit as far as humor is concerned. I can recall (and direct you to) MANY posts that conservatives have made on this board which are downright hilarious. I don't recall much of anything you've posted which was funny, King. Help me out and point me to an instance!
