A New and Improved Rush?

I've been listening to Rush Limbaugh a little bit every day since he came back on the air and I have to say I am actually able to listen to him without wanting to turn the channel now. Today, at the very end of his show, he made what seemed to be a heartfelt speech about how he is learning to let people in emotionally, how he has actually cried (after 30 years), and how he appreciates all of his listeners, whatever their political affiliation happens to be. I hope he continues on his path to recovery.

To tell you the truth, Rush is acting more like Sean Hannity with every passing day IMHO. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just different...

I like to listen to Coast to Coast am - (Art Bell on the weekends and tune in not because I like G. Noorey weeknights, but because of the guests) and that station is KFYI - Phoenix. Rush/Hannity/Liddy and Hill... others during the day. So, if I turn the radio on early Rush is on yappin' away. I 'hear' a change in him also. Not as grating on my last nerve.

You mean "the nearly famous Barry Young". And Bruce Jacobs (best giggle on the radio.) I try very hard not to miss Liddy and Hill - if I need a giggle they're sure to do it for me.

I'm in N. central AZ (Verde Valley area). I can listen to KFYI until sundown, but then it gets overpowered by a Spanish language station.

I have a similar experiece with the Spanish language station but KFYI still manages to be the prime sound. I need my paranormal fix so I think I've figured out how to turn the portable Grundig so it pulls KFYI in the strongest.

Yes I did hear L&H's 50 ways. Too funny.

I miss the old "Coast to Coast". The last few times I've been down at my sister-in-laws (in Mesa) there's been some other guy besides Art Bell...

Have you listened to that new Sci-Fi program on Sat nights yet?

We all miss Art Bell... but the good news is he hosts the show on Sat and Sun nights. The regular weekday host is George Norry. Not a good substitute for Art, but no one could fill Art's shoes. To be honest, George really was awful for the first 6 mos., but he's improved a little bit recently.

(Can't believe I'm actually posting in this forum! lol)
