American Idol - guilty pleasure???

I did a search and didn't see any previous listings about this show so.....

Is anyone else watching this?? Or, should I say, is anyone else completely absorbed in this like my daughter and I are?? We just can't get enough of it! I really didn't think too many other "grown-ups" watched it until we were at a housewarming party yesterday and a whole group of us got into a discussion over it! It was nice to see I wasn't the only one!! Just interested in some feedback: like, who's your fave, who do you think will be the top two/win, thoughts on Simon, Paula and Randy, etc. This could get fun!

As for me, I think my favorite has changed. It was Justin for a long time, but now I'm rooting for Kelly. I am really torn as to who the top two will be, but I suspect it will be Kelly and Tamyra - each has an absolute shot at winning! They're just SO talented!!! I like all three judges - hey, say what you will about Simon, but he serves a purpose there. He's been the voice of reality more than once and he's even been complimentary on occasion!

So let's hear your thoughts/comments/complaints/litanies, etc. Let the "idolatry" begin!

Although I haven't watched American Idol from Day One (I have been watching it for quite a few weeks though, long enough to really get to know the finalists). I really think Kelly is the most deserving.......I don't know, I think it's gonna be down to Justin & Kelly in the end.
As for Simon, I kinda like him
He speaks his mind and doesn't mince words ........doesn't sugar-coat stuff (not necessarily a bad thing)
I think it's pretty safe to say this will be Nikki's last week. She has such a pretty face and a look all her own (like that about her)!
Getting good that's 4 sure........
