If last nights performance was a clue as to what we will see in the finalists.... Tamyra really needed to do better... KELLY ROCKED! My word.... she is sooooooo good! Justin I thought stunk on both and although Nikki did a really good job tonight, I still don't like something about her voice... it always sounds sharp to me.

Kinda like she is always screaming and not singing

I compare Nikki's voice to that of the lead singer from the Dixie Chicks....it's a very strong, almost twangy voice. Her song selections up until last night simply didn't fit her particular voice. "Always Something There to Remind Me" was definitely NOT a good choice last week. However, her two songs last night, especially the Melissa Etheridge one, were just perfect for her voice!!

I've been reading quite a few things online that point to mass dialings by people with broadband access and the equipment and know-how to do it. They say these mass dialers can log as many as 10,000 calls in two hours!!! I've also read in several of these articles that there is some belief that the mass dialings come from a bunch of computer geeks who've fallen for Nikki, which is why she's lasted so long. Fox plans to block the mass dialers in the next few weeks as things get interesting....

I thought Tamyra's second song was definitely better than her first (although she looked just darling during the first one!). Justin was smart to go with his tried and true version of "Get Here", since his MJ song left a LOT to be desired.

Is it just me, or do these kids look increasingly tired, stressed, and all in all just out of the energy necessary to carry some of the more upbeat songs?

I am positively OUTRAGED that Tamyra was voted off and Nikki goes on......
I honestly thought it would be Nikki this week, Tamyra next week leaving Justin & Kelly.......WOW, I'm speechless!
Like the judges said, Tamyra will go very far. She's the total package.......talent, looks and poise.

I really really hope that Kelly wins it. I really feel like she is the real deal. I love her voice! I would buy her albums... not the other 2.

Did anyone else feel their dinner rise into their throat when Tamyra was bumped off??? I literally thought I was going to be sick!! Enough is enough, you Nikki-loving mass-dialing computer geeks out there!!! She's cute and she's got a nice voice, but she just doesn't have what the other three do.

Randy was right-on....I bet he will step in to guide Tamyra's career! More power to him!! I'll be right there ready to buy the first Tamyra Gray album!!

Kelly's first performance moved me to tears and I agree that the judge's choice for her was a hard song to sing..... Like Randy said, she coul dtake any song and make it sound great! She has an amazing talent.........
BUT tonight I thoroughly enjoyed Justin. He got my vote (it was a TOUGH decision)
Next week I'll be glued to the TV (that goes without saying)
