**1. Who do you think will be voted off Survivor in the upcoming episode (May 9th)?

**2. Which tribe member do you think will win the immunity challenge in the upcoming episode (May 9th)?

**3. Tell me which tribe member you think will become the ultimate Survivor at the end of the season. This answer cannot be changed once submitted for the duration of the game unless they are booted off. Only after your pick is booted off the show will you lose 10 points and have to pick again.

SCORING:
Question #1: This question is worth 3 points for correctly guessing who gets booted off this week. (Only guess one tribe member.)

Question #2: This question is worth 2 points for correctly guessing which tribe member will win the immunity challenge for this week.

Question #3: This question is worth 5 points for *each week* your Ultimate Survivor pick stayed in the game without getting booted off.

I will keep track of everyones picks and points in each weeks thread.

Despite second thoughts about Neleh, the alliance between Kathy, Neleh, Paschal, Sean and Vecepia held together and Tammy became the third member of the SURVIVOR jury. Thursday's (May 9, 8/7c) episode finds the castaways all shook up by an unexpected event!

I hope you all saw the previews of this weeks show after the last show. I don't know what happened but everyone looked horrified and shocked about something. They were almost uncontrollably crying. I wonder what happened!?!?
This really has me anticipating this weeks show. I hope no one got hurt. Maybe Robert finally got his pig with that trap he set......eewww.........

I missed the preview.Were all of the survivors remaining shown or just some of them? Unless he wins immunity, i think that Robert will be the next to go.

I can't remember now. I don't think they showed everyone but I do remember seeing Pappy and Neleh crying and some others but don't remember who they were. It's something really bad though. You can tell by the looks on their faces and how much they were crying.

We thought they showed Vecepia falling out of a tree, but not landing. After they show that they show everyone crying. I wonder if it has something to do with Robert's pig snare. Maybe V. falls out of the tree trying to fix his snare? Makes you wonder.

Hmmm....I musta missed that part. Gosh...I hope that didn't happen.

Another theory...........maybe it has something to do with their relatives, huh? Maybe they brought some relatives to the island or something from the relatives to the island. That's usually when the castaways get the most upset and cry. And maybe the producers are just making us think it's something horrible.....possible?....hmmm.......they do say its just an "UNEXPECTED" event.
Going to the Survivor site to see if I can find any more hints.

A newcomer joins the tribe, but the honeymoon is short-lived when it comes time to plotting strategy.

Ok....so maybe it is something bad that happens. Sounds like it from the comment above.

And WHAT NEWCOMER!??!?! What the heck do you think this is all about?? They are adding an additional player? A member from a previous Survivor show maybe?? The video says we won't believe who it is. I can't even imagine.

I'm wondering if the young princess they are referring to is Neleh.

Somebody go to the Survivor site and click on the little video camera symbol next to where it says Next Week On Survivor and tell us what it looks like. I can hear it but it won't play the video right. The pics are somewhat scrambled. Man, I wanna figure this out before the show...lol I can't wait to see it!!!! Video says the most emotional Survivor ever!

At first when I saw everyone crying I thought that someone had gotten hurt. Now I think that maybe they saw/heard something from home. They have done that before when everyone gets a message from home. It doesn't have to be bad news to make them cry, just seeing their loved ones usually does it.

The young princess really sounds like it has to be Neleh.

The newcomer, could it be that someone wins a challange and they bring in a member of their family. Like Colby and his mom, or Sean (survivor 1) and his dad?

They are very good about giving out clues that are very hard to figure out. LOL

But now I am thinking that this was probably filmed during the World Trade Center attacks.....think that could be it???

No,not World Trade Center attacks. Lots of speculation about this on Survivor sites, but the filming took place Nov/Dec.

This is definitely December. Vecepia's birthday is listed in her bio. as being on December 9th and that would have been the day Paschal and Neleh had their Cruise experience. Now I'm as anxious as all of you and I start class Thursday night so I have to tape it! Wahhhhhh!

Ok....so was this taped the December before the attacks or after? Surely the people at Survivor didn't skip over that event and not mention it in any of the shows, did they?

They were scheduled to start shooting somewhere else, and after Sept. 11 they had to scramble to get this area ready, which was really for Survivor 5.

I am sure that is why they let Pappy take his Flag as his luxery item.

I don't want to see anyone get hurt. I will never forget Michael. But he has an awesome testimony about it now.
