| DILEMMA, DILEMMA, DILEMMA........
I'm setting myself up for disaster here. As some of you know, I will be leaving for Las Vegas the day of the next show on the 18th. I won't be able to watch the show or tape the show at all...BUMMER!!!  I also won't be able to update the boards until I get back. So someone is going to have to email me and let me know who got booted and who won immunity so I can do the scoring. Please try to get your votes for next weeks show to me as soon as possible so I can update the board as much as I can the night before I leave. If I can have that much done, I should be in good shape when I come back and can update everyones score for that week. It may be that next Monday or Tuesday before I can update after the show for the 18th. Cutting it close to the show on the 25th but I hope I can keep it all straight. Bear with me here...LOL

You mean you don't know anybody who can tape the show for you? Have you no nearby relatives or friends who are willing to do so? How terrible! The very first "Survivor" finale, there was an open house at my son's school. My VCR wasn't working and nobody would tape it for me, so I skipped open house. I had already met his teachers anyway. One of his teachers asked where I was the next day and he explained my dilemma to her. She said that if her VCR hadn't been working, she wouldn't have been there either. LOL.

BonnieJean , that's so funny. I tape it even when I am at home because if I don't, sure as heck someone will phone in the middle of the show and I will miss something crucial..

This is very sad but last March when I was in Vegas...I made sure that I was back in our hotel room to watch the show! I figured that I saved $$ by not gambling! I got to see Alicia voted off from Survivor 2.

You guys are killin' me.  I'm the same way....usually.Last night I had to get right from work to my younger son's first baseball game of the season (after picking up my daughter from preschool on the way). I actually had to leave the game before it was over (after my husband had arrived) to get to my next obligation--a meeting of the presidents from the Parent Faculty Clubs of all the elementary schools in town. Because I didn't go home first, it wasn't until 9:30 at the meeting when it dawned on me that I had TOTALLY forgotten about Survivor! (Very unlike me.) One of the other presidents/moms confessed that she had taped the show and would loan it to me if I was interested. I figured that my husband had taped the show, but when I got home, I learned that he didn't get the kids home from the baseball game until a couple of minutes after Survivor had started, and hadn't taped the show! Tragedy!  And it sounds like it was a good one too.(Note to self: I'm way too busy!) |

TIVO !!! I LOVE it!!!! I just set it to tape SURVIVOR after the first one and it does  Never had to reset it,just put it as a fav and it tapes it every time. I usually keep the episodes till it's over just to see how they have changed (I know,a tad bit excessive............) So even when they change the day or the time it tapes it. Even when they change the name from Australia to Marques(sp?) it still got it Sorry to go on and on but I just love TIVO!! The best thing about it is I won it in one of those contests when it first came out,about 2 yrs. ago,and I can't believe I ever got along without it!! LOL

Sandy don't stress we will Survive LOL. Hope you have a wonderful trip. I just had to check the boards again to see if I voted. I am really getting brain dead. Anyway have loads of fun and we will see where we all stand whenever you can. ~~Debbie |
