Well, I am beginning to wonder what the whole point of being first to the pit stop is. For the past few episodes it hasn't mattered because they all end of leaving at the same time anyway. I couldn't believe how careless my guys were to let Will run ahead of them to the pit stop. Hopefully, they will wise up soon. One would've thought that they'd have run up there and stood on it as soon as they saw Will step on it. Will would've had to wait for Tara in order to be counted. At least they're still in, but now I've lost all my point momentum.

I don't like it when they have a week like this where no one gets eliminated. It looks bad for my team next week (Paige & Blake). The previews made it sound like they mess up so they might get eliminated.

Well, it looks like I'm making it pretty obvious that Mayor shouldn't have picked me to run it... I'm sure Lisa wouldn't have been late on the postings 2 weeks in a row! I even setup a reminder in Outlook to remind me at 4:30 each week, but for whatever reason it didn't pop up... it still shows on the calender, but I didn't get a reminder...

I dunno... dock my pay...

Anywho, here they are, with the total points AFTER last episode. So, the points here, are the points you have right now. Remember, everyone that had Chris & Alex, you got -2 points, and next week, you start over with 1 point, if they don't come in last next week. So, now is a great time to switch your picks to Gary & Dave, since you'd be starting at 1 anyways next week!

Why are we losing points, or going back to 1 if we had chris and alex? I thought we were picking who would be eliminated and since they werent eliminated they are still in the running. I may keep them as the winners, although gary and dave are growing on me

just curious since i am already near the bottom of the point scale and cant afford to lose more

Gary & Dave had me absolutely howling last night with their comments on the other teams. I was laughing so hard my dog was looking at me funny. They need to have their own show when they are done with the Amazing Race. I was really, really hoping that Wil & Tara would be eliminated last night. Doesn't it always seem that when a nasty team could get eliminated its a non elimination round?

I'm glad that Danny & Oswald have rallied and are back in it. They were not happy campers at the start of the show. I loved the comment about how 5 stars hotels are worth every penny.

Anyone on here going to try out for the next Amazing Race? I would love to apply with my friend, but she is in Austria until June and you have to send in a videotape of the two of you together by May 8th, so I guess it won't happen this time around. There is no way I could do it with my husband, we would kill each other, although we both love to travel and he is really good with geography.

which also means this should now read like this...
If your winners come in last for a week that no one is eliminated, you get -2 points for that week, and you start back over at 1 the next week (not your total points, just how many you'll get if they don't get cut).

knew it was probably in the rules somewhere but i had two kids yelling about lunch and wanting me to get a toy out so i didnt think of clicking on your link to the rules

my husband was in hysterics over gary and dave last night also. we havent watched the show together too many times, i was away the last two wednesdays, and he loved them. i agree they should have there own show.

did anyone hear the comment alex/chris (dont know which it was) about having to take will's woman since he was such a jerk. I was really worried about chris and alex last night though. when tara started saying she didnt think it was an elimination round becuase it didnt say will be eliminated but then will jumped on the matt i thought she was feeling bad about them being out. was glad it wasnt an elimination round for that reason only.

as for next week. they should paige and blake having trouble so i dont think they will be eliminated and they showed mary and peach having a tough time and one other group, who i cant remember know so i am thinking they wont go next week. I am thinking it will be chris and alex, tara and will or danny and oswald ( i think they are the 3 they didnt show) i havent had a strategy so far so maybe this one will work for me

Phred you're doing a great job!!!

I was so excited last night when it wasn't an elimination round. I thought whew! Chris and Alex made it. Just as I was drifting off to sleep I remembered the rules about coming in last in a non - elimination. Waaaaaaaaaaah! I'm thinking of switching over to Gary/Dave.

I hope Chris and Alex learned their lesson from Will last night. What a jerk to jump on the mat first.....what if it was an elimination round? Poor Tara to be stuck with Will! Maybe she can join Chris and Alex's team......and Alex, I say go for it! I never would have thought that Mary and Peach would have made it this far. And, yep, Gary and Dave were funny last night, I still don't think they'll pull it off. And if Chris and Alex keep slacking...neither will they!

Dh and I would love to try out for the next one, but with 2 little ones at home and a 3rd on the way.....not gonna happen. We kind of play along with the show when it comes to the road blocks. When the first team gets the road block and reads the clue, we decide which one of us would do that road block. I was the one who got to clean the elephant in last night's episode...LOL!
