I'm glad you explained as I don't spend as much time on the DOD site as ya'll do, and therefore don't "know" everyone very well, and when I saw the photo I thought, "hmmm, I thought PHReD was a guy".

You're just trying to confuse me. (And it's working.)

I'm sticking with the gutsy grannies too. I'm surprised they have made it this far. Certainly have to give them credit.
Great having both shows on the same night!

Yeah. I love watching the two shows back-to-back.

And, the theory that the gutsy grannies have to run out of luck sooner or later is a good one. I almost didn't change my pick (of the team eliminated) this week to them, because they are referenced in the preview of this week's show, and I thought that would be too obvious. But, then I thought, HOW CAN THEY KEEP UP?! I don't think they can. However, I admire them tons.

The Grannies are not going to get eliminated this week unless it snows in Africa.

Are you referring to the snowshoe scene?
I was tending to think that was a scene from their real life (not during the game) One on them lives in a ski resort town. I thought they showed that scene when they were introducing the teams. Maybe I'm wrong.

From past experience the scences that are shown in the previews are from the show. And the fact that the one Grannie was going on about not being able to walk fast or run when she was getting ready to hangglide would lead me to doubt that she would do something that strenuous out of choice.

Just my opinion but I am basing my picks on the fact that they are shown in the snow.

bonniejeanne is welcome here
I believe that the Grannies snow scene is from their real life, too. Like in all the scenes from the other teams in the show's opening, it's just something to introduce them and has nothing to do with the show's events.

I actually did have the 1st one on tape...
They showed the snow thing as part of their home life... Same way they showed the twins playing basketball and stuff.
