HELP! I know I am not the brightest star in the sky, but I cannot find the e-mail to send my picks to, nor the site where I can read about the contestants to decide on my picks.
Meanwhile I have dirty dishes in the sink, dirty laundry piled almost as high as my height, a 21 year old son who cannot lift a finger to help me while he is on Spring break but criticizes my computer time (you know the type), and a visiting pup that is so cute I just want to play with him all day.....
Please, please, please, if you read this put the things I need right here in this post. Thanks alot....Liz

Got questions....

Last season, the teams that finished at the top the first show, were the top teams at the end.

So, I want to see the first episode BEFORE I make my picks on the final winning team. Is there any benefit to picking the final winning team before the show airs? Will I lose points if I wait until next week to do so? Can I pick the final team and then change it after the first show?

Thanks!

Shaina

Cool

From the other thread... Let me know if you still have questions

You pick who you think the ultimate winners will be.
You pick who you think will get eliminated/come in last (for weeks that no one gets eliminated).
You can change your winners each week, regardless of if your team got eliminated or not.
HOWEVER, the longer you keep the same team, the more points you get. The first week you have that team, you get 1 point if they don't get cut, if you keep the same team, and they're still in it the next week, you get 2 points, the third week, 4 points, the fourth week, 8 points, etc. That way, if you pick the winner right off the bat, and don't switch... you have a big advantage over someone who picks them half way through.
If your winners come in last for a week that no one is eliminated, you get 0 points for that week, and you start back over at 1 the next week (not your total points, just how many you'll get if they don't get cut).
You get 2 points for picking who gets eliminated/comes in last each week as well.
At the end, each point will be one entry, and there will be a random drawing as to who wins the 5,000 cent Amazon Gift Certificate.

The deadline will be midnight EST, the night before the show. So, Sunday, March 10th by midnight, for your first picks.
Also since I'm such a swell guy, if I do not receive an email from you (or the email is after midnight the night before), I will use your two previous answers for the current week! You can't beat that, now can ya'??

I think that's about it, besides the fact that I should mention any Amazon Gift Certificates you send me, will be worth 3 points per dollar (Mayor, you didn't see that)

I will post who everyone thinks will win, who they think will lose, how many weeks they've had that winner selected, and total points.

Email me at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] make sure your Subject is "AMAZING RACE 2" I get a lot of junk mail, and have an itchy delete finger for addresses I don't recgonize

My yahoo account was a little *ahem* over loaded yesterday do to some gossiping. I'm still getting more emails as I clean it out. So I'm assuming Corganiacs did send it before midnight, but I just got it. I'm giving anyone the benefit of the doubt right now. If you don't like it.. TOUGH! I'm a nice guy... What do you think of that?

New Travel Realites add tension to Amazing Race 2. Check out the article.

*******************************************************
ALSO HERE IS A REVIEW OF THE SHOW....

Most reality game shows aren't worth playing once, let alone twice. Tonight, CBS relaunches one of the rare exceptions: The Amazing Race (10 ET/PT), an entertaining round-the-world scramble that nonetheless failed to dazzle viewers the first time around.
Certainly, the show doesn't waste any time getting the race underway: After a quick introduction, the 11 two-person teams are flying down to Rio, the first of many scenic splendors to come.

As for the teams, they immediately begin the bonding and bickering required by the reality-show formula. I do wish this second Race hadn't followed its own formula so slavishly; the casting is a near mirror image of the first, right down to the not-so-bright New Yorkers, the separated couple, the mother-daughter pair and the prissy gay team. Still, at least this show has a few ideas that merit repeating, which puts Race, if not in front of Survivor, into solid second place.
