Yay Pandybat! Ok, you know what to do.

Regarding Amazing Race, Phred was the first one I saw who volunteered and so Phred it is! Phred, you can get some pointers from pandybat since she does such a great job with Survivor.

Let the games begin!

pandybat has great potential
Ok....I'm a little confused on how simplified we want to go on the Survivor contest. Is going with the two questions:

1. Who is going to be booted next week?
and
2. Who wins immunity next week?

too simplified or do we need a challenge? Points for each correct answer would be added to your score each week and tallied at the end of the season for the drawing.
Do you guys want to make the guess like last time as to who is going to win the whole enchilada?
Suggestions please.

I think we'll do the same thing we did last time as well. Watch the first episode and get a feel for the tribe members and then we'll start the contest after the first show. Is that okay with everyone?

IMO choosing who is going to be the ultimate winner is a good idea. If we need to simplify it maybe we could just pick who is going to get booted each week instead of picking who wins challenges and immunities each week. Might be less work for Sandy that way.

However it goes I will be there.

I was going to volunteer for the Aazing Race too because we watch that show faithfully also, but I see that Lisa and Phred have already voluntered.

Can't wait for Thursday!!!!!!!

Pandybat - Thanks for being the Survivor Emcee again!

My only suggestion would be to add a question concerning which tribe wins the reward challenge. It might give more people a chance to get some points.

The most important thing - Do whatever is easiest for you.
Thanks again!

Big grin My two cents!

I know my two cents isn't worth two cents, but here it is anyway!

Sandy - since you are the Survivor "PRO" I think you should look at whatever simplifies this game for you...

3 pts per week for as long as your pick lasts for the Ultimate Survivor.

3 pts per week for whoever gets the boot that week.

If your choice for the ultimate gets the boot...then just have to pick a new one = don't lose your previous points, just won't get any more the week they get booted!

Does that sound simple? Then you could also apply it to the Amazing Race...same deal...I think?

BUT, like I say...Sandy is the expert...whatever is the easiest for you, girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait for the games to begin!!!

My guess would be that he saw my thread about "PHReD for Amazing Race 2 Mod" and saw that first...

I'd be more than happy to say, "mayor said it, thats that" but I don't want you ticked at me. If you're going to, maybe we can co-run it? I'm sure you and I can work together
What do you think?

Phred is correct... I saw his post first and replied to it affirmatively before I knew there were volunteers on this thread. If you two want to co-host it, that's fine with me! Just play nice, please. :-)

Thanks for your "mistake" Mayor

Glad Phred and Lisa worked it out/ I have enough stress in my life (LOL)
As to my favorite, Survivor...I think you should do whatever you come up with Pandy. I like trying to predict the ultimate winner, immunity challenge winner, and who will get booted. I wonder if it would make it easier if you never have to go back and subtract points---or maybe subtract a set number of points when your pick gets booted. Just a thought. Only you know how much time you can put into this Pandy....so make it as simple as you need to to have a fun time with it as the rest of us will be doing. Liz

Big grin OK I'm gonna try this... LOL!

Since my dearly beloved will be gone for an extended period of time for work and he says I am going to become "one" with my computer, I thought I would try this (It'll at least get me off line two hours each week. LMAO!).

So, dearest Pandybat, explain how this Survivor thing works, as if I am completely clueless (Ok, so I am completely clueless ) and I'll see how I do.

Same goes for you dearest PHReD and Lisa, talk to me like I know nothing. LOL!

I need to know how they both work before this thing starts!
