My dad and I were just talking about this the other day - my whole family was TOTALLY addicted. I can't believe it didn't do better in the ratings. Survivor, shumivor, I say.

I love Amazing Race! I definitely think the first season of AR was better than the last Survivor (in Africa).

The contestants for this season seem so similar (in characteristics) to the first. That can be said about Survivor too. I guess when producers have a profile that works, they are stick with it.

The brother/sister combo--a new profile--should be interesting.

Quite a mixed bag of contestants. I will be cheering for the two older women, but not necessarily betting on them. I think that their age will be against them but as an older woman myself, I feel proud of them for trying.
