Poor Jaime. She was so stunned. But...she got what she deserved after throwing that challenge and smiling about it...

Dang! I can't believe Jamie didn't see the REAL immunity idols when she opened James' bag! She should have looked further and then she could have substituted the non-idol for a real one! That would have been something.

I found this discussion which says: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] "The rules state that an idol can be given away but not stolen" ---------------------------------------------------------------- But it does appear that Survivor did bend the rules: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] Did ‘Survivor’ break its own age-limit rule? Q: I thought that you had to be 21 before filming started to be on 'Survivor.' How did Frosti get on Survivor China? He will only be 21 in Feb 2008. --Terry Andy says: That’s a good question. Survivor’s application says, “All contestants must be 21 years or older at the time of application.” But Michael “Frosti” Zernow’s official CBS bio identifies his birthdate as February 15, 1987. That means he won’t turn 21 until next February, long after the show is over. Why, then, is Frosti on the show? Has the minimum age been reduced to 20 or even 18? A CBS spokesperson told me that the age requirement has not changed. Instead, “(t)he producers decided to make an exception for him. They have the right to waive eligibility requirements at their discretion.” Gael says: I'm sure the producers do have it written into the fine print that they could cast anyone and break their own rules, but if I were someone who'd applied to "Survivor" and been rejected for not meeting the show's guidelines, I wouldn't be too thrilled with this. It's unclear from his online bio why Frosti was considered so great that they broke rules for him. He definitely has traveled in Asia before, mentioning a Hong Kong trip, and is part Japanese -- was the show desperate for an Asian competitor in this first-ever season set in China? The rest of his biography sounds like a shill for Parkour, which is described as "essentially making the environment into an obstacle course." So he may do well in the show's physical challenges, and could go far in the competition, but it still doesn't seem fair to me when so many people apply who DO meet the show's own stated requirements.

Well James barely survived. I was sure he was a goner, because he was a little too confident in his "alliances." I bet he takes an immunity idol with him to council if he does not win immunity next week. I wonder what the surprise after tribal council is.....

Poor James! He was completely blindsided! I wish he had used one of the two immunity idols he had. I thought he would have a "feeling" like Yau-man did last season and use an idol at the last minute. Now it's hard to predict anything that's going to happen on the show....the back-stabbing will really begin. Congrats to Pennywise for correctly guessing what happened at the beg. of the show. I didn't see that coming at all.

Good show last night. I thought Denise would maybe flip but I guess not. She should have gone to Todd and Amanda and demanded that they take her to the final three if she didn't flip. Great contest so far Chippers! I watch every minute of every show and still my guesses are way off! I'm impressed so many of you saw Erik as the person Amanda voted for. I figured it was between Peih-Gee or Todd. I never figured Erik in the mix.

Good finale! I was happy Todd won. He really did deserve it IMO. He played a great game.

I knew Amanda wouldn't win but starting thinking courtney may have a chance. I think Todd played the game the best. I didn't stay up for the reunion show but I just read that James wont the 100,000 sprint viewers choice and they gave Denise 50,000 because she lost her job going on the show. that is really nice of them to do for her. amanda's "doe" eyes as peih-gee called them were starting to bug me also. she constantly looked like she was going to cry at tribal council. great show. will be interested to read more about 16. karen

I believe that Courtney actually deserved to win more than Todd. But only because I value honesty, and she was brutally honest. I did not like her opinions, but she was not afraid to express them. The other observation I would make is that the reason Todd won is that he flattered the stupid, stupid professional gamber, whose ego made him vote for Todd. Congratulations to our contest winner, Pennywise.
